Bedtime hide & seek?

Hailey's least part of the day is bedtime these days. Ever since Santa came and took away her sippy ups, she doesn't like her bed much. She has all her "friends" in her bed every night, Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald, Goofy, Diego and her new favorite, Ariel and friends. Every night Hailey gets upset when I tell her it's time for her PJ's. She knows it is almost time for bed. Usually about a half hour after PJ's is bedtime. Hailey likes to play hide and seek when I tell her it is time for bed. The funny thing is that she crawls on the floor behind where-ever Darin is sitting, like he is going to save her, and she thinks I can't see her. It cracks us up. Too cute!

Oh so tired...

Poor Hailey was so exhausted after playing with her cousins all day, she didn't even make it through her dinner. She is literally pooped!

Rainy Day Fun

Rain, rain go away! Seems like we have had more than our fair share of rain these days. Kalin came over and spent the night on Saturday night. The girls always play well, they were playing "Ants in your pants" and giggling like crazy. The two of them together just crack me up, true Christensen's. IF you are a Christensen you know what I am talking about! Fun times.

Sydney's 100th day of school

100th day picnic
100th day crown

100th day writing sentences

100th day stringing fruit loops

Sydney had a highly anticipated 100th day of school celebration at school. All 5 Kindergarten classes participated as a whole in the celebration. The teachers planned a full day of excitement for the Kindergartner's. The celebration took place in the K-1 and K-2(which is Sydney's classroom) classes. There were 11 stations total ranging from stringing 100 fruit loops on a string, to counting the magical pennies with the Mickey Mouse scorcer, to having a 100th day picnic snack (my station! :) ) of pretzel rods and Nila wafers as well as String cheese with ritz crackers and juice. There were many more, but too many to list! Sydney and I both enjoyed the day at he school for the celebration! I tell you what being a teacher takes a special person, teachers are blessings.

Happy Birthday Auntie Kristy!

Happy Birthday Auntie Kristy! We hope you have an awesome day! We celebrated Auntie Kristy's birthday a couple days early this year. We went to the duck club in Benecia and celebrated there with a just our immediate family. Kristy was too wiped out from the holiday madness to have anything big, which I can't blame her. We had a nice feast of fried calamari, Zochi's raviolis with his grandmas famous sauce, garlic bread, and yummy Caesar salad. We sang Happy Birthday with candle atop a Nothing but bundts cake, which are to DYE for! It was a nice day and evening spent with the family.
